Michael Atkinson, P.E.

Michael Atkinson provides engineering for transportation, stormwater and structural projects. He is a Vice President overseeing project management for projects involving roadways and bridges. Michael brings a comprehensive understanding of asphalt paving, concrete restoration, and construction inspection procedures. He began his career with the Missouri Department of Transportation in 1992. He has served as President of the Transportation Engineers Association of Missouri (TEAM). Michael promotes high standards of quality engineering in the transportation industry.

During his career, Michael has provided training for construction inspectors in the latest advances in asphalt paving. His most recent engagement was presenting “Concrete Pavement Restoration” techniques at the American Concrete Paving Association convention. This invitation was preceded by a national award for concrete paving excellence. Michael’s clients have a high degree of confidence in his ability to design and manage a successful project.
