We are looking for an entry level engineer in our Power Distribution Group. The individual will work in diverse facets to assist our electric utility clients in the Midwest. We are looking for someone for line design, road moves, site inspections and planning. This includes structure design, finite element analysis, the ability to read and understand road plans, and understand how construction units fit together. This department typically designs for 25,000 volts and below.

This position will grow into managing your own clients. Training will be provided.

This person will work with other engineers emphasizing hydrology and hydraulics engineering. Hydrologic modeling, analysis, and design are regular expectations. Our primary markets are municipal public works, counties, utilities, and private land development.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design projects for stormwater, streambank stabilization, bridge and culvert design, and land development
• Coordinate design with owners, regulatory agencies, and draftsmen
• Coordinate construction with owners, contractors, and inspectors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited degree program
