Distribution Engineer

We are looking for an entry level engineer in our Power Distribution Group. The individual will work in diverse facets to assist our electric utility clients in the Midwest. We are looking for someone for line design, road moves, site inspections and planning. This includes structure design, finite element analysis, the ability to read and understand road plans, and understand how construction units fit together. This department typically designs for 25,000 volts and below.

This position will grow into managing your own clients. Training will be provided.

  • Planning system improvements
  • Long-term system reliability
  • Expected travel of approximately 15%

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience with PLS-CADD, Milsoft, CYME and AUTOCAD are a plus
