69kV Line

Southwest Missouri

69kV Line

Background

The Client needed to increase transmission capacity between two substations and upgrade aging infrastructure. AMA designed approximately 3 miles of new 69 kV transmission line with a single-circuit 15 kV underbuild to replace the existing line. The new line follows the same route as the previous alignment. AMA prepared material procurement documents, developed construction drawings, and served as the Owner’s Engineer throughout construction. Additional services included cost estimates and spend curves for budget planning.
