New Substation

Central Oklahoma

New Substation

Background

A city in central Oklahoma required a new electrical power source to support increased load from newly constructed schools on its east side. Allgeier Martin designed a 69 kV distribution substation that taps a new transmission line supplied by the regional utility. The substation enters service with four 25 kV distribution feeders and accommodates four future feeders, giving the city a reliable backbone for current demand and planned growth.
