Allgeier Martin VP Named MSPE President
JOPLIN, Missouri, June 21, 2010, Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc.
Vice President Kurt Higgins, P.E., has been elected President for the
Missouri Society of Professional Engineers during their recent Annual
Meeting at Lake of the Ozarks. MSPE represents approximately 14,000
professional engineers throughout the state.
Mr. Higgins joined Allgeier Martin in 1995 and provides design engineering
services and project management for industrial and commercial developments,
storm water and various transportation projects for municipals. Mr. Higgins
is a 1994 graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla with a B.S. in Civil
Engineering. He joined MSPE in 1995 and has served as President of the
Southwest Chapter and Chairman of the MSPE Professional Engineers Private
Practice (PEPP). Kurt and his wife, JoAnn, have two sons, Jacob and Hayden.
Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc. is a Joplin, Missouri based
electrical and civil consulting engineering and land surveying firm founded
in 1954. The company provides wide-ranging power and civil engineering
services to many cooperative, municipal and private utilities as well as
other related industries in the Midwest with over 120 employees with offices
in Joplin and Rolla, Missouri.
