Water Distribution Systems
Allgeier Martin brings many years of experience associated with
the planning and design related to water system expansion, improvements, distribution
and storage. Each project is preceded by thorough study and
research in order to provide our clients with a functional,
efficient and cost-effective system. In addition to the
supporting staff of designers and CAD drafters, water system
engineering is supplemented by computer modeling (WATERCAD) that
analyzes the proposed system's performance through hydraulic
simulation. The model can determine which line replacements,
tie-ins, and extensions provide the greatest benefit, and
therefore can assist in establishing the priorities of various
projects. The model can project the flows available to fight a
major fire at any point in the distribution system under any
system-wide demand condition, thus enabling the engineer to enhance
the capabilities of the system to meet anticipated needs. Our
experience has aided many cities, rural water districts, industries
and others who require abundant water supplies and pressures.
